When a deed is executed at the notary, at a wedding in the town hall or during business negotiations, everyone needs to understand exactly what is being said. A professional interpreter makes sure they do.
We provide interpreters in more than fifty languages. Where a sworn interpreter is required, as is often the case at the notary and the registry office, we assign an interpreter registered in the Dutch Rbtv register.

Consecutive interpreting
The interpreter translates after each passage. Suitable for meetings, notaries, registry offices and courts.
Simultaneous and whispered interpreting
The interpreter translates while the speaker talks, from a booth or whispering next to one or two listeners. Suitable for conferences, training sessions and meetings.
By phone or video
For short conversations, or when the interpreter cannot be on site, we interpret by phone or through a video platform such as Teams or Zoom.

Upload a scan or photo through the form or email it to info@abc-office.eu. Tell us what the document is for and in which country it will be used.
Receive a fixed price
You get a quote with price and delivery time. We only start once you approve it.
We translate and legalise
A sworn translator produces the translation. Where needed, we arrange the apostille, the legalisation or the retrieval of the document.
You receive everything back
Digitally by email and, if the authority requires it, on paper by post.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I book an interpreter?
Ideally a week ahead; earlier for less common languages or simultaneous interpreting. Short-notice bookings are sometimes possible, so just ask.
What is a sworn interpreter?
An interpreter registered in the Dutch Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators (Rbtv) who has taken the oath or affirmation. Notaries and municipalities often require a sworn interpreter.
Can you interpret remotely?
Yes, by phone or through a video platform such as Teams or Zoom.
